Calling All Mothers, Fathers and Grandparents

At this point I feel so overwhelmed with consumer reports, parental reviews, etc. on baby items. So, I thought that I would ask your opinion on what baby products you would recommend, were useful or not even needed. I know that each baby is different, but I would love to hear your thoughts.

  1. I really like my diaper wipe warmer. You have to make sure that it stays moist and has some water in the bottom of it but that's not a big deal!! Love it! Love it!

  4. I really like my portable highchair also, this is nice as he gets older. You simply strap it to any style of chair with a back on it. It is light and fits nicely in the car. If you are limited on space at home like I am it can also be stored easily. Love it! Love it!

  5. Love the Huggies (Red/White box) diapers. I tried several kinds and these happen to work the best for me. I can get a large box at Sam's Club for $37 what a deal baby!!!! I can hook you up girl!! :)

  6. I also LOVE my Dr. Brown's baby bottles. They have a lot of parts but they are so worth it. Reed started out with a lot of gas issues (Imagine that!!!) and I believe the bottles really helped to eliminate that in addition to some special formula, it is what they are know for. They are also BPA FREE!!! They offer them in glass or plastic - plastic seems to travel a little better. Love it! Love it!

  7. I agree with Jill on the wipe warmer! I noticed that my little guy sprayed us much less with warm wipes! I also agree with the jogging stroller. A plus with the jogging stroller is that it goes through snow like a champ!! The only thing I disagree with Jill on is the bottles. I used the Dr. Brown bottles for the first few months. I got sick of washing all the small pieces. I switched to the Avent bottles. These also come BPA free, reduce gas and have a lot less pieces.

  9. Hey Les! Thanks for starting a blog! You know I love getting updates. I've been trying to think of my favorite things for you - I am pretty low tech, but there are a few things that we use everyday that I do love. I love my Bugaboo. It just works awesome. It has lasted thru two kids (and we use it almost everyday) and looks and works like brand new. It is a lot of cash, but we didn't buy much other stuff and it lasted so long, it worked out. I also love love love my sling. I have the Peanut Shell. I don't use it regularly until they are older and can sit up more, but I take it everywhere and use it almost everyday! (For when they are small I use the wrap that Sharis has - love that too!) It packs up so small (not like the Babay Bjorn which never will fit in your diaper bag) and I have used it as an emergency blanket or under diaper changes. We also love our Stokke highchairs. The kids can get in and out of them by themselves when they are older (this is so helpful as they become toddlers) and they sit right at the table with you so they just replace the chair and take up no extra space. I also love my FuzzieBunz diapers, but I am not sure if you are doing cloth or not. The only time my two kids have ever had a diaper rash is when they have to be in disposables. Plus they last really well. They have made it thru two kids and are about to start on number three. I also love those hoodie towels. There is no logic to this - I just love them! Love you!
